Hacked or scammed? Three steps to get your records in order.

You stay in control: you write down what happened, you decide where to report, and you file the reports yourself.

  1. STEP 1

    Sign in with your email

Enter your email on the sign-in page and open the link we send you. The link works once and is valid for 15 minutes. No card and no identity documents.

The free allowance is 50 AI requests per account per day (UTC day). Google, GitHub, X and passkey sign-in are also on the sign-in page.

  2. STEP 2

Write down what happened, with dates

After you log in you land in Your records. Choose a category, describe what happened in your own words, then add notes one at a time:

    • dates and times
    • transaction IDs and the addresses or accounts you paid
    • the email addresses you log in with
    • URLs, sender addresses and message text

Notes are text only. Your records does not accept screenshots or files. After you log in you can read each saved note again, with the time it was saved and its SHA-256 fingerprint; only you can read it. Keep the original screenshots, emails and receipts yourself, with the dates you took them.

  3. STEP 3

    File the reports yourself

You decide where to report and you file each report yourself, using your own notes and original records. Common places are:

    • the bank, card issuer, payment app or crypto exchange you paid through
    • the platform where it happened (social network, marketplace, email provider)
    • the police, or a national reporting site (in the US, the FBI’s IC3 at ic3.gov)

Mithril does not investigate, identify anyone, or file anything for you.
