A shared purpose. A place for your contribution.

People should not face cybercrime alone.

Together, we can reduce harm, connect reliable observations and help evidence support accountability. Your first step can be small. It still matters.

No sign-in is needed to read or practice. Your answer is not sent or saved as a contribution. Both paths are open to everyone; you can switch whenever you like.

WHY

Less harm. More people able to help.

A person facing cybercrime deserves useful knowledge, support and a path forward.

HOW

Build understanding together.

Trace sources, distinguish facts from inference, welcome corrections and use the appropriate authorized process.

WHAT

Choose a useful part to play.

Learn, improve shared knowledge, build a tool or help someone else get started.

A first step · about one minute

A useful observation leaves room for what is unknown.

A screenshot shows a message asking someone to send money. Does it show who was using the account?

This practice stays on this page. It does not send a report or identify a person.

Progress you can trace.

  1. An observation

Keep a source, date and the limits of what it shows.

  2. Review and feedback

The contribution owner records acceptance, questions, corrections or a duplicate.

  3. Useful shared knowledge

Confirmed publication has its own receipt. Private evidence stays separate.

Publication, use in a case, acknowledgement by a recipient and an enforcement outcome are separate steps. Each needs its own evidence.

Our shared principles

A community built on care and evidence.

  • People first. Help is not conditional on sharing a story, accepting a reward or recruiting someone.
  • Sources before certainty. Separate observation and inference. Corrections and honest uncertainty help everyone.
  • Permission at each step. Publication, public recognition and reuse for training are separate choices. Keep private case materials out of public discussion.
  • Useful work earns appreciation. Learning, source checking, teaching and tool building matter. Existing reward terms remain with their own programs.

Mithril Guild is a place to ask questions, share useful observations and learn together. Read first, then choose whether to join. No rank or technical experience is required.
